Senior Lieutenant Edgar Gasparyan has been serving in the police since 2010. That same year he decided to marry Lilit.

The mother remembers how she blushed first at school and then in the army when she was called and the boy was praised.

After the start of the war he left for the front line. The woman had said that they were on the border of Armenia, she had not said that she was in Karvachar.

"He came back for 2 days, then left again. He said that they are in the same area again. He did not say that they had moved to Shushi. He did not call for several days, he only wrote. "On November 7, he called and said, 'Lil, I'm in Shushi, I love my mother very much, I love you very much, but I will not come again, you will take good care of yourself,'" says Lilit.

Prior to the war, Edgar's mother had undergone heart surgery and felt that she did not feel that her son was in danger.

"The woman was talking, she started crying and shouting. I picked up the phone, it was Edgar. He said, "Dear mother, I am in the forests of Shushi, I am wounded and under siege." "He said there was no help, mother, you might not hear my voice," said Edgar's mother.
