Spokesman for the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov stated that the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin on Nagorno Karabakh preceded a long period of work, RIA Novosti reported.

As a result, the president's statement was spread last night, in which he called on the parties to make a humanitarian ceasefire, to exchange prisoners for the transfer of victims, to stop the fire. "The president has invited the foreign ministers of the parties to Moscow," Peskov told reporters.

It is known that the Russian President called for an end to hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh. A corresponding statement was issued by the Kremlin.

The statement added that the aim of the ceasefire should be to exchange the bodies of prisoners of war and victims.
